Business Development Executive / Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, engineering, cement, steel, foundry, power, and related industrial sectors.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, cold calling, and client visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical team to provide suitable solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and business meetings with clients.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up for order closures.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories for business development activities.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
  • Basic understanding of industrial products/manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
