Position Details:

Role: Accountant

Location: South Goa 

Experience Required: 5-6  yrs

Role Overview:

To manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial reporting to support business decisions across the group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Handle journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Taxation & Compliance
  • File GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
• Banking & Reconciliation
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
  • Manage vendor and customer accounts.
• Internal Controls & Audit
  • Implement internal financial controls.
  • Support statutory and internal audits.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Group-Level Coordination
  • Consolidate accounts across multiple entities.
  • Provide financial insights for management decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for group companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 3–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a group or multi-company setup.

 Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
